In March 2017 the Second Life International Airport was purchased by the Firelands Properties Group (owned by Lilly and Carla Laville). The fire department was replaced by the Firelands Rural Fire District station 34.

Expanded to a 5 bay ARFF station Firelands RFD's Medevac division is also stationed here at the airport.

Some history from the original Antilaghi Fire Department is shown below.....

In January, 2015 the Antilaghi Regional Airport was nearly sold. As such it was completely torn down. Due to a sudden change of heart, the current owner Shadowknight Falconer decided to keep the airport yet proceed with a dramatic rebuild. Nearly complete, Station 79 has been rebuilt as well.  (The original station photos have been left below for comparison and historical reference)
